Trevor. lives with the mother in Nakirebe, Mpigi district about 20 km south of Kampala city. He is the last born out of the nine children born by the mother.

His father died while Trevor was six months old and since then, his mother has been supporting him in collaboration with his aunt.

Trevor’s mother sells second hand clothes during local market days to raise money to buy food and other family needs and also pay school fees for her children. She sometimes take loans from money lenders to take her children to school.

During holidays, he helps at the nearby welding workshop where he gets some money to buy a few necessities such as under wears, Vaseline, toothpaste and others.
