It strengthens me to always yearn for the Lord as a poor man always yearns for many things.

Favourite Bible story

The story of the lame man who was always carried to the temple gate to beg for money from people who entred the temple. Peter told him “what I have is what I give you, in the name of Jesus stand and walk” Instantly the man walked and went rejoicing and praising God.  (Acts 3:2-8)

What do you learn from the story?

Ø  I should remain hopeful and position myself strategically for deliverance.

Child Name : Jovia Majorine

CLASS: Senior Two

AGE: 15 years

STATUS: Orphan (Father dead)

DREAM: Doctor

Jovia Majorine is a single orphan whose father died in 2017 and she remained with the mother and two other siblings. Majorine is the third born whereby the first one is at university pursuing his bachelor’s degree, the second born stopped in Senior Three due to insufficient funds to continue with studies.

Her mother is a primary school teacher and with her little earning, she is only able to provide home basic needs and a few children’s school requirements. Majorine completed her primary level in a school where her mother teaches, therefore it was easy for the mother to always plead before school administrators even when she never had money to pay fees due to diverse responsibilities. Right now in secondary school, it becomes hard since the fees amount is huge to her and she feels like leaving the daughter to stop in Senior two.

Through all this, Majorine remains focused and trusts God that she will complete her studies and become a better person whom everyone will be proud of.
