Faith is a young visionary lady living in Luteete village, Rakai district. She lives with her mum and three siblings; one with whom they share father and mother and two that belong to another father.
Faith’s parents separated sometime back and the mother got married to another man unfortunately the second marriage also didn’t work well. Therefore currently she strives alone bringing up all the four children with very little support from their fathers. The father to Faith lives in Masaka city working as a cleaner at a certain church and he rarely sends money for the daughter to use.
The mother grows crops and rears some animals at home basically for home consumption sells a little harvests to cater for other needs such as children’s school fees, clothes and others. Faith also helps her mother in gardening during holidays.
Faith’s prayer is that God will enable her to study and become a doctor such that she can offer service to the rest, and also be able to change the family story where girls are not prioritized in education.
