Brenda lives with her mother and six siblings in Rwenanga Kacheera, Rakai district.

Brenda’s father died when she was at the age of nine years and from that time she has been struggling to attain education. Her mother supports her with a few personal requirements and in her life she prays to God to pave for her a way in order to have education which is the only hope for her future.

During holidays she works with her mother in other people’s plantations to get funds for supporting the family and buying personal needs.

Brenda’s dream is to become a nurse and she says she has a heart of helping her family. She adds and says that in future she does not want her family to suffer like the way it is suffering now. She always feels a lot of pain while working in other people’s plantations and at times sleeping on an empty stomach but she has hope that one day God will help her save her family from this kind of suffering.
