Ashima lives with her mother and siblings in Kyabakadde village, Mukono district.

Her father died in 2020. After the death of her father, her elder sisters were dropped out of school because her mother was not able to support them. She says it is like a miracle for her to be in school but what worries her is where the school fees will come from.

Ashima is being supported by her mother with the little she can afford. Her mother has a small kiosk where she gets some money to support the family. During holidays, Ashima goes around her village washing people’s clothes such that she can also be able to raise some funds for her personal needs.

Ashima’s dream is to become a Lawyer and she desires so much to help her mother and supporting her little siblings.
